I didn’t explain any of  my choices today
for fear of spoilers in case you haven’t read them.

Also, some of you may not agree that some of these
are exactly tough, but they were for me.

What are some of the tough reads for YOU?

  1. I wish I'd thought to include Me Before You on my own list. I picked it up for book club recently and adored it. It's one of those books I probably wouldn't have picked up on my own, but it was just wonderful.

  2. I have wanted to read Everybody Sees The Ants for so long. I will have to get to it eventually. I enjoyed The Dust of 100 Dogs by King when I read it years ago. Great list!

  3. Did you break these down in a discernible pattern, because I'm trying to figure out the pairings? I put Hopeless and Me Before You on my list as well, but I'd also agree with Just Listen and Lock and Key. I really want to read If You Find Me, and I know you've raved about Unbreak My Heart, so I'd like to try that author too (I keep wanting to sing that cheesy song in my head when I see that book title). Some of the others I need to look up, and I think I may have Fight or Flight on my kindle.

I haven't read a single one on your list. You know I don't really do issue books, but I think I'm getting better at them. 🙂 I may have to give some of these a try.

    Great list!
