Last Monday (in the spirit of Book Journey‘s It’s Monday, What are you Reading?) I told you about my habit of reading multiple books at one time, and I listed the four books I was reading at the same time. Today, I’m not reading quite as many, but it is only because I am pretty captivated by this piece of genius:
|The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Published by Doubleday
Publish Date: September 13, 2011
I waited forever to start this book and I was finally able to start it this weekend. At only a few chapters into the book, I am IN LOVE with it. There has certainly been a great deal of buzz around Erin Morgenstern’s unique circus story, and I completely understand why. I am mesmerized so far, and I highly doubt that will change.
|Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Illustrated by Garth Williams
Published by HarperTrophy
Publish Date: January 1, 1953
I’m still reading Little House in the Big Woods out loud to my children in the mornings before school, although we are almost finished…
|Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel
Published by Del Rey Books
Publish Date: October 18, 2011
I’m thinking since I usually like to read more than one book at a time, I’ll probably start on Dearly, Departed some time today. Because that’s how I do things around here. Also, I think this cover is pretty cute.
