Ten Books I Want To Re-Read
Okay so re-reading is my FAVORITE. I will re-read a bazillion books in my lifetime. Picking ten is fun, but only a drop in the bucket.
I actually wrote a discussion post about re-reading yesterday, before I realized what TTT was about this week. Then I laughed when I saw this topic. Ha!
I’ve read these series starters but never made it further
SO I want to restart the series:
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Burn For Burn by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian
I didn’t love these the first time I read them;
perhaps I’ll like them more on a re-read:
The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
I love these books so much so OF COURSE I want to re-read them:
Nowhere But Home by Liza Palmer
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Favorites that I’ll always re-read:
Railsea by China Meiville
The Name of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss (obviously)
American Gods by Nail Gaimain – I always am sort of re-reading this one. It’s ongoing.
Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout – Now that this series is complete, I can re-read this and finish the rest.
BONUS! Holiday Re-Reads!
Kissing Under the Mistletoe by Marina Adair
Snowed Over by Angie Stanton
I’ve been reading & re-reading holiday books since October started, you guys. I’m almost finished with my holiday re-reads. I think these are my last two. I work on making my holiday reading list longer every year, so my Christmas re-reads list will be longer next year! Exciting!

Re-Reads are THE BEST. What are you re-reading?
Holiday re-reads! That's a great topic actually- I need to file that away. Snowed Over is a fun one. And I wouldn't mind re-reading Obsidian, Throne of Glass, and Attachments either. Still need to read The Raven Boys sometime! Happy re-reading 🙂
Thank you! I plan on reading Obsidian, ToG, and Attachments all in audiobook format when I reread them. I'm excited (:
What? You didn't really enjoy Throne of Glass the first go around. Well, girlfriend, you MUST go back and read it again. Then, pick up the rest of the series, including The Assassin's Blade. Read the Assassin's Blade right before reading Heir of Fire. I SWEAR these books just keep getting better as the series progresses!! Don't miss out!
As for the Raven Boys, yes, do go back and re-read that one and then continue on with the story. Its contains such a thick and complex plot that the story is unpredictable and incredibly addictive. It has a touch of romance, a curse and a huge quest for a magical king – all of this set in a contemporary backdrop (Henrietta, VA). Make time for this one, you won't be sorry! I just finished the latest installment (Lily Blue, Blue Lily) and can't wait for the next!
I know! I'm such an odd man out for not loving ToG the first time but I'm sure it was the hype surrounding the release of the book. I never do well with big hype. That's why I've waited with The Raven Boys too! I loved The Raven Boys too much to waste it on over-hyped reading. I read The Raven Boys well after its release so I'll just restart that series when it is complete even though it is super hard to wait.
I love re-reads just like you, every time I re-read a book it feels like coming home 🙂 Throne of Glass made my list too, but unlike you I liked it a lot. Hopefully you'll like it better this time.

I hope to like it better! I plan to audiobook read and follow along with print, and that usually (not always, but usually) works out for me. I WANT to like it so much.
Yay for a love of re-reading! I should have done this prompt because I haven't been too good at re-reading lately.
I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one super enamored with Throne of Glass. In my particular case, though, I'm just going to continue on with the series and see if my opinion improves, I think.
I definitely will re-read Nowhere But Home eventually. And also just recommend to friends irl. 🙂
And eek I will read Name of the Wind soon!
Nowhere But Home is so much fun. And YES to the Rothfuss. You getting that book makes me want to reread it NOW.
I'm a JLA convert and really need to go back and *read* her whole series (well, multiple series)!!
You have a ton of books on here that I need to read! Attachments, American Gods, and The Raven Boys are on my TBR–can't wait! 🙂
Nowhere But Home and Attachments are two I'd definitely re-read–especially Attachments, knowing what I do now about all the little details and revelations that connect these characters. Wonderful list!(:
I love that you do so much re-reading, the holiday ones sound especially fun! (Have you read Brighton Walsh's Season of Second Chances? It's a novella and a suuuuuper sweet read!)
I'm reading The Raven Boys right now for the first time. Everyone loves this series so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 🙂
I'm very happy with how the Lux series ended – hope you enjoy it when you get around to catching up. 🙂
